Spectacle de clôture des 38èmes Rencontres du Jeune Théâtre Européen
Au moment de choisir ses études et son avenir, Dorothée reste incapable de répondre à une question apparemment simple : « Qu’est-ce que tu veux devenir ? » Projeté au pays d’Oz, il découvre une route de briques jaunes qui promet de conduire chacun vers la place qui lui est destinée. En chemin, il rencontre un Épouvantail dont les capacités ne sont jamais reconnues, un Bûcheron épuisé d’avoir transformé sa passion en entreprise et un Lion qui s’efforce de dissimuler sa peur. Tous espèrent trouver auprès du puissant Magicien ce qui semble leur manquer. Mais derrière les portes de la Cité d’Émeraude, les solutions proposées ressemblent étrangement aux problèmes qu’ils voulaient fuir…
At the moment of choosing her studies and future path, Dorothy is unable to answer a seemingly simple question: “What do you want to become?” Transported to the land of Oz, she discovers a yellow
brick road said to lead each person toward the place they are destined to occupy. Along the way, she meets a Scarecrow whose abilities are never truly recognized, a Woodcutter exhausted by having turned his passion into a business, and a Lion who struggles to hide his fear. All of them hope to find from the powerful Wizard what they believe they are lacking. But behind the gates of the Emerald City, the solutions offered strangely resemble the very problems they were trying to escape…
